Supporting the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Energy Blueprint
Under the SMJ roadmap and the Sabah Energy Roadmap and Master Plan (SE-RAMP), the state is targeting a 50% renewable energy capacity share by 2035, aiming for over 1,200 MW of renewable power online by 2030. Reaching these targets requires moving away from costly, high-emission diesel generation and embracing large-scale solar, decentralized microgrids, and advanced energy storage systems.
